Red figured Rhyton
Red figured classic rhyton in the shape of the head of a wild boar. The head of the boar has been sculpted by hand in extreme detail while on the top part of the vase we see the fourth labour of Hercules during which he killed the Erymantian boar, which was roaming the plains of Arcadia. The work on this vase is so fine you see the lines on the figures standing slightly out, Handmade and handpainted by Konstantinos Stathopoulos in 2004 with the ancient technique of reduction. (the pot is dated and signed by the artist).
